JACKSON-WILLIAMS.
Yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home of the bride’s parents, Miss Clara Elizabeth Williams only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Williams, and Mr. John King Jackson of Ilion, Mich., were united in marriage Rev M. Willett of the First Congregational church. The ceremony was witnessed by a small company of relatives and intimate friends, and after the wedding breakfast Mr. and Mrs. Jackson departed on a wedding tour which will extend to the coast and include Yellowstone Park. On their return they expect to make their home in Decorah.
The union is one in which the many friends of both bride and groom join in approval and congratulation. The bride is in all respects a worthy young woman, and comes from one of the best homes of our city. Mr. Jackson is a representative of the Nonotuck Silk Co., and during his frequent visits to Decorah has gained the acquaintance of many of our people, an acquaintance which has ripened into respect and esteem.
