Married.
MCDONALD-THALER—At the home of the bride’s parents in Calmar, Iowa, Saturday evening, at 6:30 p. m., occurred the marriage of Mr. Wm. M. McDonald to Miss Mary A. Thaler, Rev. Chas. A. Parkin officiating. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald are well known by our town’s-people; the Dr. having spent several years in Calmar and Mrs. McDonald is one of our cleverest young ladies. She is a woman of rare musical ability, one who, if trained by the masters would charm the world with the sweet music she can bring out of her violin. She will be missed by the people of Calmar in many ways. But all her gifts and graces are not too great to bestow upon and gladden the heart of husband and make home the brightest, happiest spot on earth.
Mr. McDonald is a young man of real worth of character and ability that will bring him success in life, The newly wedded couple left Calmar Monday, June 26, for Elk Point, S. D., where they will make their home, and the Dr. practice his profession.—Calmar Courier.
