Transcribed from: http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn87058075/1914-12-04/ed-1/seq-2/John Daly of Brownville, Minn., and Miss Jennie McCabe of Bluffton twp. were united in marriage Wednesday morning, Nov. 25, 1914 at 9 o’clock. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Burke at St. Agnes’ Catholic church at Plymouth Rock. After the wedding a sumptuous dinner was served at the bride’s home.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Michael McCabe of Bluffton. She has numerous friends in Decorah, having attended Valder College and having visited considerably in the city. Wherever she is known she is held in high esteem. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Daly of Brownsville, who formerly worked the old Tom Sexton place in Burr Oak township and the Ruddy place in Fremont township. During the past summer the groom has been employed on the Frank Ryan farm in Fremont township. He is a young man of good character and has many friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Daly will settle on the Charles Ryan farm in Fremont.
That their married life may be a long, prosperous and happy one is the wish of a host of friends. — Decorah Journal.
