Many Friends Honor Cremer Couple on Silver Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Leander Cremer were surprised Friday evening in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary when friends came to help them celebrate the occasion. Cards furnished the evening’s entertainment. Lunch was served from baskets of food brought by the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Cremer received many gifts. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Leo Luzum, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Kipp, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Schneberger, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Schmitz, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huinker.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bucheit, Mr. and Mrs. James Bullerman, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bullerman, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Thuente, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lechtenberg, Neil Huinker and Al Bush. On Saturday evening neighbors and relatives helped them celebrate the event by spending the evening playing cards. Anniversary cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. James Silhacek of Spillville and pot luck lunch was served.

Present were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lechtenberg, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Lechtenberg, Ossian, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hemesath, Mrs. John Cremer, Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Rothmeyer, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Vondersitt, Calmar.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Cremer, Harmony, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Cremer, Omaha, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Linus Bodensteiner, Mr. and Mrs. Art Huber, Lawler; Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Gerleman, Mr. and Mrs. Linus Huinker, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Huinker.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Elsbernd, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brinks, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Thuente, Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Lechtenberg, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Heying, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heying, Mr. and Mrs. Cremer received many gifts and a purse of money.
