Kathryn Bullerman Becomes Bride of Raymond Uhlenhake

St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar was a scene of a pretty wedding, Tuesday morning, when Rev. A. S. Ulenhake{sp} of Ossian, preceding the Nuptral {sp} Mass read by Rev. Clarence Neuses.

The bride looked lovely in a floor length gown of white satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline and full skirt with lace insertions. Her fingertip veil fell granfully{?} from a crown a pearls. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthimums{sp} with streamers. Her only attendant was Miss Rita Ziviebohmer{sp} of Ossian, friend of the bride, who wore a blue taffeta gown made with a fitted bodice and full net skirt. She carried a bouquet of deep pink carnations.

Joseph Boeckmann, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. They both wore dark suits.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner and reception for 130 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening, a shower wedding dance was given at the Inwood in Spillville. Both the bride and the bridegroom are graduates of St. Aloysius Parochial sch 1. They will make their home on a farm east of Calmar.
