Luana Man is Badly
Injured By His Car

Luana, Ia. Jan. 2 – Special: Development of internal injuries is feared by doctors of Emil De Sotel, owner of the garage here, who was seriously injured Monday when crushed by his automobile. Mr. De Sotel had driven to Monona, and when ready to start home his car refused to start by means of the self- starter, he then cranked the car, not remembering it was in gear. The car started pinning him beneath it and a truck and another car near the truck, pushing both cars across the entire street. The car was stopped by an electric light pole, which broke.

De Sotel was picked up, unconscious, and was given medical attention. No bones were broken but he was badly bruised.
