FORT ATKINSON CELEBRANTS

Mr. and Mrs. John Doubek Sr.~

Fort Atkinson, Ia. Jan. 31. - Special:

The Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Doubek, Sr., pioneer settlers of Fort Atkinson, was observed at their home here Monday.

The couple entertained their sons and daughters and families as well as other guests, at a 6 o'clock dinner. The table was decorated with golden trimmings, and about 30 guests were served.

The following son and daughter and guests were present: Messrs. and Mesdames Walter Riesner and family, Edward Doubek and son Charles, Adolf Doubek of Cherry Vale, Ill., Joseph Doubek and family of Calmar, John Doubek Jr. and Donald, and George Doubek. Other guests were: Messrs. and Mesdames Fred Einwalter Sr., Joseph Busta and family, Joseph Kurash and family and Anton Tupy; Revs Charles Dragoun and H. A. Hendricks; and Miss Ethel Plamteaux, all of Fort Atkinson, and Miss Edna Rink of Cresco.

Both Mr, and Mrs. Doubek are in good health. During the day many congratulations were extended.
