MARRIED.
JOHNSON—DASKAM—At the residence of the bride’s parents in Fremont township, May 30, 1888 by the Rev. J. D. Tull, Ray Johnson of St. Francis, Cheyenne Co, Kansas and Miss Nettie Daskam, daughter of Mr. John Daskam, of Winnesheik{sp} county.
Notwithstanding the wretched conditions of the roads, there was a large attendance. The grounds about their farm home were beautifully lighted and arranged, and everything passed off pleasantly. The wedding presents were numerous and nice; the following is a partial list.

Beautiful silver cake basket, with silver fruit knife and nut-pick—Dr. J. J. Clemmer, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Will Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holcomb, Mr. and Mrs. James Holcomb, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Addie, Mr. Job and Miss Frances Darrow, Miss Mattie Little, and Mr. Alfred Holcomb.
