Irving Langerud succumbs to long illness
FOREST CITY — Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church here for Irving Langerud, 55. He died early Monday at the Municipal Hospital here following a lingering illness. Surviving are his wife, Myrtle; three children, Vincent, Fertile; Charles, Charles City; Mrs. Ronald (Karen) Rollefson, Fertile; four grandchildren, his father, Ole Langerud, Forest City; three sisters and two brothers.

Irving M Langerud married Lilly M Haroldson

HAROLDSON-LANGERUD
LELAND, Dec. 7— Miss Lillie Haroldson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haral Haroldson, and Irving Langerud, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole S. Langerud were married at the parish house at Forest City Thursday by the Rev. J. A. M. Hinderlie. The bride was attended by her sister, Myrtle Haroldson, and the bridegroom's best man was his brother, Leland Langerud. After the ceremony, dinner was served to the members of the immediate families at the home of the bride's parents, after which Mr. and Mrs. Langerud left on a honeymoon trip to Minneapolis. For the present they expect to live on the farm near here with Mr. Langerud's parents.

LANGERUD RITES HELD ON FRIDAY
Survived by Husband, Mother, 3 Children

LELAND — Funeral services were conducted at West Prairie Lutheran church at 2 p. m., Friday for Mrs. Irving Langerud, 33, who died suddenly Monday, Jan. 25. Pallbearers were Leonard Arne, Nels Haugen, Albert J. Olson, Irving Ambroson, Sam Froiland and Jester Hill. Burial was in the West Prairie cemetery. She was born Dec. 5, 1909, on a farm one mile north of Leland. On Dec. 5, 1929, she was married to Irving Langerud. She spent her entire life in the Leland vicinity with the exception of two years in Chicago. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Vincent and Charles, and one daughter, Karen; mother, Mrs. Karen Haraldson; four brothers, Helmer, Minneapolis; Arthur, Rake; Melvin, Leland, and Harry, Portland, Ore., and one sister, Mrs. Glen Heiny. She was preceded in death by her father, two sisters and a brother.
