I am hoping to contact some descendants of Elias N. Mikkelson and Johann Marie Anderson of Winnebago County, Iowa. Elias was born 14 Oct 1859 near Madison Wisconsin and died 24 Jun 1933 in Winnebago County. Johanna Marie Anderson (Andersdotter) was born on the Lund Farm in Stjernaroy, Rogaland, Norway on 16 Dec 1861. In the old days, Rogaland was called Stavanger. Johanna died 23 Dec 1927 in Winnebago County. Elias and Johanna married on 27 Sep 1884 in Lake Mills, Winnebago County, Iowa. Johanna and Elias had at 9 children. I do not know all of the kids' names, but among them were Nels, Edward, Alfred, Martha, Annie, Dora and Ella. Both Elias and Johanna were buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Concerning the children:
Nels Mikkelson, born 13 Dec 1886, married twice. First wife was Edna Leigh, second wife was Hendrena Peerson. The children: Valere Mikkelson, Merle Mikkelson, Roger Mikkelson, Irene Mikkelson, Victor Mikkelson, and Myrtle Mikkelson.

Martha married a guy named James Wilcox. Their children: Helen Wilcox and Charlotte Wilcox.

Annie married a guy named John Wilcox. Their children: Mildred Wilcox.

Dora married Elmer Peterson. Their children: Marvin Peterson, Earnest Peterson, Dale Peterson.

Ella Mikkelson married Roy S. McCullock or MacCullough. Their children: Harold, Lois, John, and Arthur.

I would like to contact descendants of any or all of these branches, because I have a ton of questions. Johanna's younger sister (Martha M. Anderson) was my Great Grandmother. I would be happy to share the information I have found as well.

Thank you so much!
