Old marriage records?

OLSON, OLSSON

It has recently come to our attention that my Great-Grandfather Olof Olsson was married once before he married my Great Grandmother. This explains many things, like the story of "the brother who moved out west and was never heard from again"... when prior to this we could account for all the brothers. I am wondering if anyone can help direct me to a place where I might find an old marriage record. Supposedly the name of the bride was Jeppa. (I thought that was a man's name?) The marriage would have most likely taken place between early 1870 and late 1872, no later than January of 1873. I suspect the marriage would have taken place in Winnebago County, but this is just a guess. He may have had ties to Hancock county, and the Albert Lea area of Minnesota. Any help you can give would be most appreciated.
