REED AND BELT

I'm searching for anyone researching OR KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT these 2 surnames and/or any related families.
Specifically ARGALUS REED Listed as A H Reed in the 1885 Winnebago census living with FARNUM and MARINDA REED. Marinda's maiden name was BELT.
ARGALUS REED was Listed as age 77 IN THAT YEAR. Are there any obits or death records that go back that far??
Any help would sincerly be appreciated.
