Harvey Hassebroek
(April 30, 1916 - June 25, 2008)

Harvey Hassebroek, age 92, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, died on Wednesday at the Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center.

Harvey is survived by his son, Harley, and his wife, Lynn, of Buffalo Center, Iowa; his grandchildren: Johnathan Hassebroek, of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Lauren Hassebroek, of Buffalo Center, Iowa; and his brother, John, and his wife, Bonnie Hassebroek, of Sioux City, Iowa; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; his brother, Marvin; his half-brother, Bill; his sister, Harriet Van Horne; and his daughter-in-law, Susan Hassebroek.

In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the First Congregational Church Benevolence Fund.

Funeral services for Harvey Hassebroek were held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the First Congregational Church in Buffalo Center with Rev. Bill Peake officiating. Burial was at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation was from 5:30 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the First Congregational Church in Buffalo Center and one hour before the ceremony at the church.
