Randy Lee Weaver
April 20, 1958 - February 19, 2019

Randy Lee Weaver, 60, passed away comfortably and peacefully in his own home on February 19, 2019.

One of three children, Randy was born in Buffalo Center, Iowa, on April 20, 1958, to Richard (Dick) and Darlene Weaver.

After graduating from Buffalo Center High School in 1976, he attended Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in Ankeny, Iowa, where he graduated in 1978. He worked at Interstate Motor Trucks of Mason City, Iowa, for the past thirteen years, enjoying the company of his co-workers and customers. Moreover, he liked helping his family and friends in any way he could. His pride and joy were his wife, kids, and grandkids. Always able to crack a sarcastic joke, he could make people smile and laugh even during hard times. An amazing person, he was, genuinely, loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Weaver; his children, Ashley (Weaver), Ryan Query, and Cody Weaver, his grandchildren: Aiden and Kylie Query and Brayden and Connor Weaver; and a granddaughter on the way; as well as by his two sisters, Patti Fiderlick, and Kathy Arends; other family members; and close friends. His parents and grandparents preceded him in death.

We would like to invite family and close friends to attend a memorial at his home, 345 North 7th Street, Forest City, Iowa, to pay respects on Friday February 22, 2019, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Cards can be sent to this same address.

If we could write a story,
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind, loving husband, father, and grandfather
Who had a heart of gold.

We could write a million pages
But would still be unable to say
Just how much we love and miss him every single day.

We will remember all he taught us
We are hurt but won’t be sad,
Because he’ll send us down the answers,
And he’ll forever be our husband, father, and grandfather.

Cataldo Schott Funeral Home, Forest City, Iowa, 2019.
