Mark Charles Arnold, 63, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died on Tuesday, April 03, 2018, at his home in rural Lake Mills, Iowa.

Mark was born on March 25th, 1955, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Louis and Joyce (Hobbs) Arnold. He attended and graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1973. On January 1st, 2003, he married Cathy Arnold (Wilson). Together, they formed a blended family with five children.

Mark grew up hunting and farming with his dad. After they retired from farming, he continued working at Larson Contracting until 2013. Mark loved spending time outside, working in his shop, and riding his four-wheeler with Cathy and his basset hound, Beauford, at his side. He, also, enjoyed playing pool, golfing, and riding his motorcycle.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; his mother, Joyce Arnold; his sister, Beth (Rod) Stene; his brother, Jay Arnold; and five children: Derek (Rua) and Josh (Sarah) Arnold, Krista (Travis) Hyatt, Michael (Dana) Buschman, and Erica (Jeff) Benny; twelve grandchildren: Aubri, Crystal, Damian, Halo, Hannah, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jourdan, Kaitlyn, Logan, Trinity, and Zachary; as well as by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis; his brother, Randy; his aunt, Teda; his sister-in-law, Jan; his nephew, Dillin; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 105 East 3rd Street, in Scarville, Iowa, with Pastor Randy Baldwin officiating. Visitation with his family will be on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 E. Main Street, Lake Mills, Iowa, and will continue for one hour before the service on Saturday. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
