Gayle JoAnn Trytten, 57, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Unit in Mason City, Iowa.

Gayle JoAnn Trytten was born on January 28, 1958, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Glaydon and Donna (Olson) Trytten. She was the oldest of five children.

Gayle attended Lake Mills Community Schools and lived in Lake Mills most of her life. For twenty years, she worked at Fleetguard Industries.

A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Gayle enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to see her nieces and nephews and give them ice cream and other treats when they visited her. She liked playing cards and bingo and going to casinos. She, also, enjoyed cooking and taking care of her two cats.

Gayle is survived by her sisters, Kim Slette, of Blue Earth, Minnesota, Pam Miller, of New Ulm, Minnesota, and Jennifer Ullestad, and her fiancé, Casey Emig, of Knoxville, Iowa; her brother, Randy Movick, and his special friend, Toni Brandt, of Lake Mills, Iowa; nine nieces and seven nephews; three great-nieces and two great-nephews; and a good friend, Kathy Larson, of Scarville, Iowa; along with many more relatives and friends.

Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Glaydon and Donna Trytten; and her brother-in-law, Loren Slette.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills with Pastor Peter Soli officiating. Gayle’s family will greet friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Thursday. Inurnment will take place at Salem Memorial Cemetery in Lake Mills, Iowa.
