January 13, 1908 - February 7, 1972Mrs. Lucille Huber, 64, of Estherville, died on Monday, February 7, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital.
Mrs. Huber was born on January 13, 1908, at Corwith, Iowa, to Hugh and Anna Gordon and received her education in Corwith schools.
On June 30, 1936, she married Raymond Huber at Corwith. They lived in Buffalo Center. Mr. Huber died September 21, 1955. Since January, 1961, she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Lyle Hum.
Mrs. Huber was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at Buffalo Center and later of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at Estherville.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Huber, of Bloomington, Illinois; and two daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Carol) Hum, of Esthervllle, and Mrs. Larry (Lydia) Eaton, of Altura, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren; and six brothers, Fred and Fabe Gordon, of Flint, Michigan, Ray Gordon, of Hopkins, Minnesota, Dale Gordon, of North Bend, Oregon, Hugh Gordon, Elk River, Minnesitta, and Anthony Gordon, Mason City; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Oxley, of Corwith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her parents, one sister and one brother.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at St. Patrick’s Church, Estherville, with Father Laurence Burns officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Buffalo Center.
A recitation of the Rosary will take place at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Fuhrman Funeral Home. Friends may call any time up until the time of the services.
