Raymond Huber
January 2, 1901 - September 21 1955Funeral services for Raymond Huber, 54, were held Saturday morning, September 24, [1955], at the Winter Funeral Home and at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Buffalo Center with burial at Graceland Cemetery.
Mr. Huber died suddenly Wednesday evening, September 21 [1955], at the University hospital at Iowa City where he was a patient for ten days.
He was born January 2, 1901, at Wesley, Iowa to John and Lydia Huber and attended school at Wesley. In 1915 the family moved to Buffalo Center, where he helped his father on the farm for 12 years. In 1927 the family moved to Buffalo Center, his father starting to work for Winnebago County operating a road maintainer. Ray started doing the same type of work a few years later, the job he kept until the time of his illness.,
On June 30, 1936, Ray was united in marriage to Lucille Gordon and they made Buffalo Center their home.
Leaving to mourn his sudden departing are his wife, four children, Kenneth, Carol, Paul and Lydia and his mother. He was preceded in death by his father, John Huber.
