(September 28, 1957 - March 11, 2015)

Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia Ann (Kranz, Folven) Henderson, 57, of Lake Mills, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, March 11, 2015, at the Lake Mills Care Center.

Patricia Ann Henderson, a daughter of Gordon and Lorraine (Mikkelson) Kranz, was born on September 28, 1957, in Brainerd, Minnesota.

A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Patty thought the world of her family and friends. She worked as a CNA at the Lake Mills Care Center for twenty years. There, her dedication to serving others defined her as a person. She, also, enjoyed spending time doing word search puzzles, baking Friendship and Amish bread, and drinking coffee with her best friend, Caron.

Patty is survived by her children, Lance Henderson, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Jessica (Junior) Davis, of Joaquin, Texas, and Michael (Molly McDonald) Henderson, of Emmons, Minnesota; one sister, Lori Folven Carillo, of Lake Mills; two brothers, Ray (Pam) Folven and Merle Folven, both of Emmons, Minnesota; her grandchildren Kayla Jones, Courtney and Dakota Davis, and Logan and Kaydence Henderson; one niece, Samantha Dolsen; four nephews, Jonathan and Nathaniel Folven and Jimmie, Jr., and Jamie Underwood; as well as a special friend, Ronald Lang, of Northwood, Iowa.

She was preceded by her parents and one brother, Randy Folven, in 1990.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main Street, Lake Mills, with Rev. Daphne Hamborg officiating. Inurnment will be at Bear Lake Concordia Cemetery, rural Albert Lea, Minnesota. Visitation with her family will be from 1:00 until service time on Tuesday.
