Ole Berner Jensen was born May 15, 1854 at LaSalle, Illinois to Jens Jensen and Mari Olsdatter, the second of their ten children. He also had 4 older half-siblings. Ole came with his parents by foot and by wagon west to settle on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1860 census at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: Gens Genson 45, Mary Genson 30, Lewis Genson 16, James Genson 7, Ole Genson 6, Peter Genson 3, Mary Genson 1, Martha Johnson 80.

Ole was confirmed on April 5, 1869 at the First Lutheran Church at ST Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Found in the 1880, 1885 censuses at Center, Winnebago, Iowa:
1880: Ole Jensen age 26.

1885: Ole B Jensen age 30, single.

His father sold the farm and moved to Winnebago County, Iowa about 1871.

Ole married Malene Solomonson on January 13, 1893 at Winnebago County, Iowa. (Malene b 1873, d 1934). The couple had 7 children.

1910: Ole Berner Jensen 55, Malena Jensen 36, Alga Jensen 10, Martha Jensen 2.

Found in the 1925 - 1930 censuses at Lake Mills, Winnebago, Iowa:
1925: O B Jenson 70, Malene Jenson 51, Martha Jenson 17, Olive Jenson 12, Anna Salmanson 48.

1930: Ole B Jenson 75, Malena Jenson 57, Olive Jenson 18, Martha Ambrosen 22, Anna Solomonsen 53.

Found in the 1940 census at Davenport, Scott, Iowa, widowed, living w/ daughter Olga: Mark McAroy 46, Olga McAroy 40, Ole B Jenson 85.

Believe Ole died in 1941 in Iowa and was buried at the Salem Lutheran Cemetery at Winnebago, Iowa.
