Craig Meyer
(March 16, 1939 - October 22, 2013)

Craig Meyer, age 74, of Buffalo Center, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2012, at his home.

Craig Dennis Meyer was born on March 16, 1939, in Lakota, Iowa, the son of George and Lydia (Junkermeier) Meyer. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Lakota High School. On June 5, 1960, he married Patricia Mae Donnelly. They were blessed with four children and fifty-three years together.

After doing a little farming, Craig took a position at Snap-on Tools in Algona as a machinist. In his spare time, he loved boating, fishing, hunting and shooting clay pigeons with his children and friends.

Craig is survived by his loving wife, Patty, of Buffalo Center; his children: Nancy (Mike) Mahoney, of Madison Lake, Minnesota, Deb (Mike) Heenan, of Elmore, Minnesota, Allen (Diana) Meyer, of Dickens, Iowa, and Brian Meyer, of Lake City; his sisters-in-law, Muriel (Mike) Gjerstad, of Blue Earth, Minnesota, and Arlene, of Lakota, Iowa; his brothers-in-law, Mike Donnelly, of Swea City, Iowa, and Russ Donnelly, of LeMars, Iowa; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dean; his mother- and father-in-law, Pat and Mildred Donnelly; two brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 25, 2013, at the Winter Funeral Home in Buffalo Center with Pastor Russ Steele officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the Winter Funeral Home in Buffalo Center. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Buffalo Center.
