Robert Owen Klingfus, Sr.
(June 20, 1955 - October 24, 2013)

Robert Owen Klingfus, Sr., 58, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at his home in Lake Mills, Iowa.

Robert “Bob”� was born on June 22, 1955, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Wilbur and Donna (Emerson) Klingfus. He attended school in Cedar Falls.

Bob’s children and grandchild were the light of his life. He had a unique way of thinking, but he was truly a very kind man. His favorite pastime was watching, attending, and talking about NASCAR races.

He will be truly missed by his significant other, Crystal Sanden; his sons, Robert (Amanda) Klingfus, Jr., and Dylan Klingfus-Sanden; his grandson, Mattix Klingfus; his mother, Donna Klingfus; his sisters, Terry (Scott) Eicher and Melissa (Shawn) Vernihyea; and his brother, Scott (Dawn) Klingfus; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Klingfus, and all of his grandparents.

A memorial, inurnment, graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Bristol Cemetery in rural Joice, Iowa, with Pastor Bill Peters officiating.
