Gary Hjalmer Irons
(February 23, 1945 - October 3, 2013)

Gary Irons, age 68, of Buffalo Center, passed away on October 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Mason City.

Gary Irons was born on February 23, 1945, to Hjalmer and Bertha (Badje) Irons in Swea City, Iowa. On October 8th, he married Bonnie Beckius at the First Presbyterian Church in Blue Earth, Minnesota.

A very hard worker, Gary enjoyed farming for many years. He also liked hunting and fishing and spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; his son, Gary, Jr. (Nancy); his daughter, Tracey Eyanson (financé, Tim Mattison); his grandchildren, Brooke, Bridget, Thomas, Jesse, and Rhiannon; his great grandchildren, Breyleigh and Jackson; his sister, Linda (Robert) Hofmann; and his brothers, Eugene (Sharon) and John (Karen).

He was preceded in death by his father; an infant sister; and a brother, Jerry.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 7, 2013, at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake with Pastor Herb Kenyon officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at West Cemetery in Rake.
