Irene Olivia Lein, 90, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, died on Friday, October 28, 2005, at St. John’s Lutheran Home.
Irene was born on July 7, 1915, to Ole and Ida (Drugsvold) Brunsvold in Leland, Iowa, and grew up in rural Lake Mills. She worked on the family farm and at various other jobs. In the early 1970s, she moved to Albert Lea where she became a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her son, Reuben Lein, of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer; her son, Jerry; and her sister, Iris.
Funeral services for Irene Lein will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at Grace Lutheran Church, the Rev. Todd Walsh officiating. Interment will be in the North Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, rural Lakes Mills, Iowa. Visitation is one hour prior to the services at the church.
