Leith Kent Granzow was born February 21, 1927 at Thompson, Winnebago, Iowa to Glenn Roy Granzow and Ruth Lavilla Ostrander.

Served in the US Navy, World War II veteran.

He married Joyce Marilyn Miller, they later divorced.

Next married Nola Mae Henniger June 1, 1976 at Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai, Idaho.

Keith died March 9, 2010 at Bremerton, Kitsap, Washington.

Obituary:
Our beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed early Tuesday morning at Harrison Medical Center after a sudden, unexpected illness. Leith had a full and adventuresome life. Born in Thompson, IA, Leith graduated from high school in Bremerton prior to enlisting in the Navy. As a young man, he fought in the Pacific in WWII, before moving to Alaska. He served as an American volunteer before returning to work most of his adult life at the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. Leith was a quiet man, but had a great life and enjoyed a good joke as well as hunting, fishing, and crabbing.

Leith was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Mae.

He is survived by his sisters, Mayme Mancini, Hariett Ostrander and Ida Mae Grubb; stepsons, Donald and David Johnston; daughter, Kim Sorensen; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.

Found in the 1930 census living at King, Winnebago, Iowa: Grant Ostrander 61, Ida Ostrander 58, Robert Ostrander 16, Warren Ostrander 9, Ruth Granzow 27, Leroy Granzow 4[4 11/12], Leith Granzow 3[3 1/12], Margie Granzow 0[10/12] Mildred Borg 19.
