June 21, 2012 - August 30, 2012THOMPSON - Zachary Evan Albertson, age 2 months, died on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at his home in Thompson.
Zachary Evan Albertson, treasured son of Shane and Melissa Albertson, and beloved brother of Elijah, was born June 21st, 2012. Zachary's family was blessed with his presence for more than two beautiful, unforgettable months before he unexpectedly went to his heavenly home on August 30th, 2012.
During his brief time here, Zachary experienced many special moments with his family. Daddy will miss setting Zachary on his tummy and looking into his baby's eyes as he practiced lifting his head. And Daddy will never forget how Zachary would wiggle his arms and smile when tickled. Mommy will miss her baby's warmth, coos, and the smiles he just started giving two weeks ago. She will also miss the precious moments when she would stop to watch the three most important men in her life while they played and sometimes slept together. Happy outdoors, he even went fishing. His grandparents, other relatives, and family friends also shared many other sweet memories with Zachary. Though his family will miss him, they take comfort knowing they loved him deeply and told him so an uncountable number of times.
Besides his mommy, daddy, and big brother, Elijah, Zachary is survived by his paternal grandparents, Brian and Karen Albertson; his maternal grandparents, Lynn and Jill Osterkamp; his paternal great-grandparents, Violet Albertson and Ruth Midthun; his maternal great-grandparents, Edward and Joan Osterkamp; his uncles, Travis, Dylan, Ryan, Nicholas, and Andrew; his aunts, Hillary, Sarah, Jen, Lisa, and Heather; and his cousins, Krystal, Alexandria, Tyler, Brianna, and Brandon.
Zachary will be joyfully greeted in heaven by his paternal great-grandparents, Donald Albertson and Loren Midthun; his maternal great-grandparents, Adolph and Imogene Boetel; his uncle, baby Ryne Albertson; and his cousin, baby Bradley Osterkamp. Zachary will always remain his parents' precious baby and Eli's little brother. They awaited his birth with joyful expectation, and they will one day hold him again in heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the United Methodist Church in Forest City with Lay Pastor Dixie Rauk officiating.
Visitation will be before the service at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the United Methodist Church in Forest City.
