Funeral services for Hollis R. Thompson, 32, will be held today (Thursday), February 8, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Buffalo Center. The Rev. Jay Warren and Rev. Wm. Clevenger will officiate. Interment will be in Olena Mound cemetery and Winter Funeral Service will be in charge of arrangements.

Hollis Ray Thompson, son of Lloyd Thompson and Hilda Jutting Thompson, was born at Buffalo Center, Iowa, on March 1, 1940.

Mr. Thompson was a 1958 graduate of Albert Lea High School. He served in the United States Air Force, and as a civilian he worked as a warehouse machine operator. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Buffalo Center.

He passed away at the Raymond Nursing Home in Austin, Minnesota on February 5, 1973, having attained the age of 32 years, 11 months and 5 days. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Max Dean.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his father, Lloyd, and stepmother, Rhoda; three brothers, Larry and David of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Roger of Rockford, Illinois; a half brother, Lynn of Albert Lea, Minnesota; and a stepbrother, Lyle Evans of Carrington, North Dakota. He is also survived by three sisters: Mrs. Clarence (Beverly) Willaby of Albert Lea; Mrs. Paul (Janice) Pierce of Keokuk, Iowa; and Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Bennett of Des Moines, Iowa; a step-sister, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Huber of Elmore, Minnesota; and one niece, Michelle.
