Annie L. (Lamping) Berhow Olson
March 28, 1908 - November 25, 1984Funeral services for Annie Lillian Berhow Olson, 76, of Buffalo Center were held Wednesday morning, November 28 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center with Pasor Floyd Anderson officiating. She passed away Sunday November 25 at North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City after an illness. Interment was in Olena Mound Cemetery with Winter Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Casket bearers were nephews, Gary Friesenborg, Bradley Cairns, Duane Elwood, Marvin Berhow, Roger Olson, Billy Lamping and Glen Lamping. Mrs. Shirley Boyken was the organist and music was by Mrs. Margaret Anderson.
Annie Lamping was born March 28, 1908 in Kossuth County, Iowa to John and Gertie Lamping. She was an active member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 21 in Buffalo Center. She was employed for a number of years at the Buffalo Center Hospital.
She was married to Roy O. Berhow on December 1, 1926. He died on December 15, 1955. She married Clarence C. Olson in Buffalo Center on July 9, 1965.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence; one daughter, Shirley Wilson of Cole Camp, Missouri; five sons, Donald Berhow of Thompson; Robert Berhow of Garner; Jimmie Berhow of Story City; Thomas Berhow of Buffalo Center and Randy Berhow of Emmetsburg; twenty six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Mrs. Shaaron Kloberdanz of Mason City, Mrs. Judy Jensen of Faribault, Minnesota and James Olson of Edina, Minnesota; one brother, Bill Lamping of Buffalo Center; three sisters, Jeannette Olson of Thompson, Jessie Berhow of New Richland, Wisconsin and Dena Wentworth of Buffalo Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents,her first husband, one son, one great-grandchild and three brothers.
