Obituary Notice - Forest City Summit, Forest City, Winnebago County, Iowa dated Aug 17, 1898

The aged father of T. I. Thompson died last Friday at the home of his son near town. Mr. Thompson was eighty-eight years old and was born in Norway. The funeral services wee held Sunday afternoon at T. I. Thompson's house. Rev. T. M. Hauge delivered the address. His death marks the close of a long and useful life and is regretted by many friends and relatives.
