FOREST CITY - Marjorie B. Hagen, 82 of Forest City, died Sunday (July 22, 2007) at her home in rural Forest City.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Scarville, with Pastor Randy Baldwin, officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home in Lake Mills and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in rural Scarville.

Marjorie Bernice (Amundson) Hagen was born on June 23, 1925 to Ole and Marie (Olson) Amundson near Scarville.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith affirming Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Marjorie married Kenneth Hagen on Oct. 28, 1949. Together, they dairy farmed near Scarville until they retired in 1980 and moved to a home near Forest City.

Marjorie was a loving, caring and devoted wife. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Scarville, especially participating in the choir, circle and serving wherever she was needed.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and was secretary for the Olson family reunion for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; brother-in-law, Alvin Hagen and sister-in-law, Myrtle Hagen, of Scarville; along with several cousins and other relatives and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents.
