Born December 7, 1900, near Hersey, Wisconsin. Educated in public schools of South Dakota and Minnesota. Attended Black Hills State Teachers College in South Dakota. Veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific, Atlantic and Mediterranean areas. Member American Legion, Farm Bureau, Iowa Association of Farm Managers, I.O.O.F. Lodge El Kahir Temple Shrine, Order of Eastern Star, Rotary and Congregational church. In farm management and general property management business. Is a farm owner. Serving third term.
