Cemetery Records

Greetings Webster Researchers,
The Iowa WPA Records Project has acquired the cemetery records for Webster County from the 1930's. They are looking for volunteer transcribers to help get this online for Webster County.

If you would like to be a transcriber, please drop me an email. You do not have to take on all of the records, you can merely do one letter of the alphabet or whatever suits your fancy. The project has two methods to transcribe depending upon the transcribers tastes and has a very good team to assist the transcriber.

Please consider volunteering a small amount of your time this summer for this wonderful project. Not all counties in Iowa have WPA records so Webster is fortunate that they were completed. Another very important aspect of the records is that they were done in the 1930s and some of the headstones done at that time may not exist today.
