Since this query refers instead to Jasper and Webster Counties, I am reposting the query and my answer to Bev.

Well, I located some interesting records for you. It appears Matilda and George Tomlinson were "Divorced" at the time of her death in Jasper County according to her death certificate on May 28, 1923. George’s death certificate listed him as "Widowed" when he died in 1931. Her death certificate says she is interred in Westview Cemetery, Prairie City, Jasper County, Iowa. George’s death certificate does not list an undertaker nor a cemetery.

Interesting that George M. Tomlinson died at University Hospital in Iowa City on May 25, 1931 at 3:12 am. His son, George F. Tomlinson died at Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge, Iowa on the very same day, May 25, 1931 at 10:00 pm.
