obits, death certs.

THOMPSON, KENDALL, GORD

I've already spent $10 to try to get a death certificate for Thomas Thompson 1833-1903 or 4, only to have the county say they can't find it & worse yet, keep my money. Is there any other way to get death certificates? What about obituaries? Did some people just die without much of a record?

Thomas & wife Christina lived in Badger twp., as did their son & his family Owen & Delia Gord Thompson.

Where should I try next? Any help & advice would be appreciated.
