Adopted Grandfather

My Grandfather, according to records, was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on July 13, 1902. He was adopted by August Strube and his wife Sophia (nee Schnelle) of Terril, Iowa. I am searching to find birth records and possible geneology for him. Any help will be appreciated.
