May 1, 2023Clifford Roy Pannkuk, 87, of Barnum, IA died at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Webster City, IA. After a year of battling prostate cancer, Cliff was lifted up to Jesus, and went home April 29, 2023. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Harvest Baptist Church, 614 2nd Avenue South, with Pastor Marvin Smith III officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the church service. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. Cliff was born in Burt, IA at home to Evert Henry and Lizzie Ellen (Giddings) Pannkuk on December 17, 1935. Cliff’s specialty was small appliances mainly TV’s and lawn mowers. He got his vocational training to repair just about anything in Des Moines, IA. Cliff and Barb were married in 1956, at Open Bible Church in Cambridge, IA. To this union four children were born: Ronald Evert (named after Cliff’s father), Deborea Lynn, Steven Michael, and Elizabeth Ellen (named after Cliff’s mother).
Cliff is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years: Barbara Maxine (Scott) Pannkuk of Barnum; 4 children: Ronald Evert Pannkuk of Laurens, IA, Deborea Lynn (Pannkuk) Cooper and husband Randall of Ridgeway, MO, Steven Michael Pannkuk and wife Molly of Webster City, and Elizabeth Ellen Pannkuk of Humboldt, IA; 4 grandchildren: Anthony Scott Daleske of New Hampton, MO, Sandra Lynn Daleske of New Hampton, Dustin Michael Pannkuk of Webster City, and Johnathan Wayne Pannkuk of Webster City; 7 great grandchildren: Hayden Dougherty, Brianna Daleske, Johnathan Daleske, Holly Neff and husband Kenny, Sidney Sutherland, Wyatt Hacker and Gavin Hacker; 3 great great grandchildren: Xander Jacob Pannkuk, Jimmy Charles Neff, and Olivia Bynn Neff; and 2 sisters: Marge Medford of Des Moines and Millie Bleeker of Ames, IA. He is also survived by multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; big brother: Duane “Bud” Arden Pannkuk; and younger sister: Mary Lou Connie.
