Mrs. Dwight Fawkes, 73, former resident of Fort Dodge and Twin Lakes, died Friday in a hospital at Bartow, Fla., after suffering a heart attack. The body is being returned here for services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bruce's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Christy, pastor of the United Church of Christ Congregational Church, Manson, officiating. Burial will be in the Otho Cemetery. friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Surviving are the widower; and the following sons and daughters: Gordon and Dwight Fawkes Jr., Visalia, Calif.; Mrs. Harold (Berdena Jean) Klug, Boise, Idaho;Mrs. Roy (Marilyn) Johnson, Meridian, Miss.; Mrs Charles (Leola) Otto, Long Island, N.Y.; Mrs. Francis (JoAnn) Hudson, Otho; George Fawkes, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Ray (Beverly) Bourquin, Davenport; 36 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, including Raymond Findlay, Otho.
Born at Scranton, Mrs. Fawkes moved to Fort Mead, Fla. about eight years ago.
