Lawrence Tuttle, 40, a life-long Clarion resident, died Thursday morning at Park Hospital, Mason City. He had been ill only since Sunday when he was taken to Clarion Memorial Hospital, and later transferred to Mason City.

Funeral services are pending with the Eyler Funeral Home of Clarion in charge.

Mr. Tuttle was an employee of the Chicago Great Western Railroad at Clarion. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion and Lutheran church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Blanche Borel; tow daughters, Lynn Lorraine, 11, and Rochelle, 7; his mother, Mrs. Hilda Tuttle of Clarion; and one brother, Howard, of Clarion.
