“Linda A. Olson, 88, of Tompkins Memorial Health Center, died Friday morning at the center.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Brian Hagglund officiating. Burial is in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is after 12:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Bruce’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include several nieces.

Linda Alfreda Olson was born Oct. 1, 1903 at Fort Dodge. She attended and graduated from Fort Dodge High School. She also attended Fort Dodge Business College. She married Carl R. Olson in 1928 at Fort Dodge. They were lifelong residents of Fort Dodge. She was a homemaker. He died in 1982. In 1983, she entered Friendship Haven.

She was a member of Dorcas Circle at the church, and was a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church or Friendship Haven.”
