Arline T. Johnson, 91, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at the Gowrie Care Center.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Harcourt, with Pastor David Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Gowrie Township Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Palmer Funeral Home in Gowrie.

Survivors include daughters, Beverly Greenfield and her husband, Jim, of Littleton, Colo., Shirley Gustafson of Harcourt, and Mary Jane Martin and her husband, Tom, of Orlando, Fla.; son Kenneth Johnson and his wife, Sue, of Harcourt; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Andre) Morton, Brian (Nicki) Greenfield, Julie (Justin) Roberts, Erin (Chad) Feavel, Carrie Jo (Ryan) Evans, Kellie Elizabeth Martin, Jarred Johnson, Jessica (Ryan) Peterson and Jeffrey Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Jillian Greenfield, Thomas Feavel, Gabriel and Mina Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Edith (Gustafson) Swanson, husband, Clarence, son-in-law, Roland Gustafson, brother, Merle Swanson, and sister, Lenore Cole.

Arline T. Swanson was born on Nov. 17, 1915, at Harcourt. She graduated from the Harcourt High School. Arline was united in marriage with Clarence Johnson on Aug. 16, 1941, at the United Methodist Church in Harcourt. The couple farmed in the Harcourt area until retiring in 1978.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
