Mrs. Andrew Perry (born Martha Anderson) died at her home in Harcourt Sunday evening at six o'clock of pneumonia. The deceased was the wife of Andrew Perry; was born in Sweden 1843; came to this country to Lewistown, Ill., 1871 and lived here until 1875 when she was married to Mr. Perry coming to Lost Grove Township to live. Lived on their farm until 1896 when they moved to Harcourt. She was a member of the local Mission church and active in its work. Leaves a husband, three brothers and a sister in this country and two brothers in Sweden. Funeral to be held Thursday at the Mission church at 10:30 a.m. interment at Lost Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Andrew Perry born Margreta Christina Andersdotter, 27 April 1842, "Gastgivars garden", Lumsheden, Kopparbergs Lan, Sweden, daughter of Anders Olsson and Anna Anderdotter, sister of Anna (Andersdotter) Erickson, Anders Andersson (Andrew Hadeen), Eric Andersson (Eric Hedin), Kristina Andersdotter (Norbeck), Sven Andersson (Swan Hadeen), Gustaf Andersson (Gustaf Hadeen).Swedish Emigration Permit 14 May 1871, North America.
From this obituary we learn that Margreta "Martha" Andersdotter upon arriving in America came first to her sister and husband Andrew Erickson, who at the time were living in Lewistown, Fulton County, Illinois.

Mrs. Andrew Perry was Great Aunt of Robert J. Hadeen.
