MARGARET PASSOW

Margaret M. Passow, 103, of Clare, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 9:45 a.m. Thursday, July 19th in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church in Clare with Rev. Lynn Bruch officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Clare. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where there will be a vigil at 7:00 p.m.

Surviving is her son, Harold and his wife Joeleen of Humboldt; daughters, Phyllis Lynch of Clare, Marilyn Lynch and her husband Jim of Redfield; daughter-in-laws, Bonnie and Corinne Passow, both of Fort Dodge; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Catherine (Tinner*) Buscher; her husband Jay; sons, Donald and Dale; step-mother Agnes Hogan Buscher; 6 brothers; 3 sisters; a grandson, Paul Passow; and a great-granddaughter Stacey.

Margaret M. Buscher was born September 28, 1903 in the Duncombe-Lehigh area. She attended schools at Border Plaines, Gilmore City, and Humboldt. She was united in marriage to Jay Passow on February 28, 1922 at Corpus Christi Church and they established their home on a farm near Clare. She made her home on their Century Farm until the time of her death.

She was a member of St. Matthew’s Church in Clare and St. Matthew’s Altar Society.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
