Clinton, Iowa, January 13, 1900NEW OPERA HOUSE
The opening of the new Midland Theatre, which occurred in Fort Dodge, was the social event of the season. The new theatre, which has a seating capacity of 1,000, was filled with people. The new opera house has been built by the Midland Insurance Company, of this city, as a condition of securing a certain amount of insurance in Fort Dodge. The result is one of the most beautiful theaters as well as one of the most equipped in the northeast.
