Bessie Stitt was my grandmother. She married my grandfather, Charles P. (Phillippi)Boies on Oct 12, 1899 in Osceola, Clarke, Iowa. The certificate says she was from Corydon, Iowa. Her father was T.J. Stitt. I am looking for more information on the family as this was a brick wall until I found the license with the town of Corydon, Iowa. The license did not have the county and I am only assuming it is the same county as it was in 1899. Does anyone have a Stitt ancestor or any knowledge of Bessie Stitt? Arlene
