Obituary
Justin Henry Gunn was born March 17, 1852 at Worcester, Mass., died at Seymour, Iowa, May 16, 1909. Aged 57 years, 1 month, 29 days. He was married to Lottie S. Harper, at St. John, Mo., February 27, 1883. To them were born 4 children – Harry, Huron, who died in infancy, Mrs. Hazel Brown, of Decaturville, Mo., and Helen. Mr. Gunn had been engaged in business in Seymour for a number of years and was highly respected. His health has steadily declined during the past two years and with loss of property and health his case has been most pathetic. He seemed to have been convinced that his time was short and came, from Eldon, here a few weeks ago that he might end his days amid the scenes of his more prosperous years. His brother, Lewis Gunn, tenderly cared for him until death relieved him of his pains. The funeral service was conducted from the Baptist church Monday, May 17, at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Southlawn. A.
