April 5, l894

MISS WILLA DONAHOO, one of the principal teachers of the Lineville High School, who has been sick for some time with consumption, died at her house in Lineville Friday morning, March 30th, l894. She was a successful school teacher, a popular young lady, loved and esteemed by all who knew her. During the past winter she has been engaged in teaching until about three weeks ago, she gradually grew worse.

The funeral services were held at the M.E. Church by REV. GRAY. After the services, her body was borne with sadness to the Lineville Cemetery and tenderly laid to rest.

Peaceful be thy silent slumber

Peaceful in the grave so low

Thou no more wilt join our number

Thou no more our songs shalt know.
