Ivan William Rockhold, 71, of Corydon died Tuesday, March 1, 1988 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon. He was a former Lineville resident.

Mr. Rockhold was born March 1, 1917 near Lineville, a son of Charles H and Cora Mae (Alexander) Rockhold. He was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Gaskill on September 2, 1934. They farmed in the Lineville area for many years and are the owners of the Rockhold Hardware in Lineville.

Survivors include his wife Mary of the home in Corydon; two sons, Bob and Junior Rockhold, both of Corydon; his mother Cora Rockhold of Lineville; three brothers, Ray and Kenneth Rockhold both of Lineville and Merle Rockhold of Allerton; six grandchildren and one great-grandaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charley Rockhold October 7, 1981 and an infant sister Evelyn.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 4 at the Greenlee Funeral Chapel in Lineville. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville. Unknown Source.
