Georgia Ann Gaskill, 93 of Lineville died Friday, Oct 7, 1988 at the Corydon Care Center in Corydon where she had been a resident for several years.

Mrs. Gaskill was born July 28, 1895 in Mercer County, a daughter of Cyrus and Sarah E (Fairley) Painter. She was united in marriage to Creed Gaskill in 1915. She was a Charter Member of the Lineville Order of Eastern Star, a member of the Lineville Rebekah Lodge, Lineville Auxilary and a member of the Lineville United Methodist Church,

Surviviors include one daughter, Mary Rockhold of Corydon; two grandsons, Bob and wife Betty and Junior and wife Tina; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on February 21, 1947; ten brothers and sisters and one son-in-law, Ivan Rockhold.

Graveside services were held Monday October 10, 1988 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville under the direction of Greenlee Funeral Service of Lineville. Unkown Source.
