OBITUARY

Almon William Hill was born Feb 24, 1883, in Henry county, Iowa and died Oct 11th, 1919, at his home in Humeston, Iowa, aged 36 years, 8 months and 13 days.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, mother and six children: Ilo, Lewis, Lorrena, Lavada, Olive and Orville; a daughter Clela having preceded him in death. He also leaves four sisters: Mrs. Ella Gulick, Mrs. Vella Antumecci, Mrs. Hattie Thielbar and Mrs. Anna Darrah, and two brothers: Clarence Hill and Melone White.

A few months prior to his death he became a member of the Christian church in Humeston by confession and baptism.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Monday conducted by the pastor, Rev. Pontius, and the remains were laid to rest in the Humeston cemetery.
