Keith Max, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Newell was born March 30th, 1920 and died April 29th, 1920, aged 29 days.

The little sufferer was sick but four days, then came the angel of life, near the midnight hours, broke the tender casement of clay, severed the silver cord and bore the little soul back to the boson of the Heavenly Father.

A short service was held at the home, after which the little body was tenderly laid to rest in the Humeston cemetery to await the resurrection morn. Rev. J. D. Pontius.

Called hence by early doom,
Just came to show how sweet a flower
In paradise would bloom.
Ere sin could harm or sorrow fade,
Death came with friendly care,
The opening bud to Heaven conveyed
And bade it blossom there
